    ZSmart V-Engineering Assistan

    Overview

     

    With the booming of 5G and IoT, the network operated by telecom companies is expanding rapidly. Meanwhile, the end customer and terminals’  installation and maintenance needs are also increasing sharply. But on the other hand, traditionally, these orders were processed by engineers inside the telecom, brings up with the problems such as low efficiency on processing these orders since the complication of the procedures and manually  maintenance support—which increases high OPEX majorly caused by the increasing of manpower cost.

     

    The ZSmart V-Engineering Assistant (hereinafter referred to as VEA) mainly focuses on operations in installation and maintenance.

     

    Solution Description

     

    ZSmart VEA is designed to support telecom operators quickly and accurately to process the request from their end customers. It can be deployed on Ali Cloud and accessed in various channels. It was designed along with interfaces to Whale Cloud’s BSS, OSS, NMS and Internet Portal solutions, so it can use the huge businesses and experiences in telecom industry accumulated by Whale Cloud in the past 10 years. With the embedded AI, ZSmart VEA can provide services related to voice recognition, natural language comprehension, conversation management, etc. And on Application level, two main centers were designed: Information service center which provides intelligent information searching, and assistance service center which supports the engineers to accomplish daily tasks.

    Based on industry experience and VEA, it provides 7*24 hours of online service for first-line engineers and 3 minutes to complete session interaction and answer questions to relieve the pressure on first-line and second-line engineers.

     

    End-to-End Intelligent Operation & Maintenance

    The VEA integrates service capabilities (system integration) to remove the need for switching between multiple systems and allow for one-stop problem handling. The VEA includes 26 categories, thousands of o&m support scene knowledge, covering most of the problems of external line installation.

     

    Maintenance Efficiency

    The AI-enabled platform provides convenient and quick consulting and problem handling, and is available 24/7 to help field and backend personnel.With VEA, the operation time for querying information support is reduced by 60%, the installed operation saves 30% of the work time, and the fault operation saves 20% of the work time.
