Whale Cloud and China Telecom Recognized as Finalists for TM Forum Excellence Awards 2020
Nanjing, China, July 01, 2020 – Whale Cloud and China Telecom today announced that they have been jointly recognized as finalists for TM Forum Excellence Awards 2020 in the Cloud Native IT & Agility category.
The two companies won the “Outstanding Customer Centricity Award” at the TM Forum Excellence Awards 2019.
Cloud native IT and agility category focuses on how hyper-converged infrastructure can deliver faster time-to-value and dynamic zero-touch operations. Whale Cloud and China Telecom worked as one team to help China Telecom transform its legacy IT architecture into a cloud-native distributed one to enable the required business and IT agility, affirming its leading position in internet speeds, innovation and customer experience. The unified BSS 3.0 platform supports continuous integration and development processes. With the platform, China Telecom consolidated and decommissioned 62 applications to streamline operations across its 31 subsidiaries, accelerating the time to market to launch new services from two months to three days.
